Yes, we can make this site as functional as we want to. This site is very powerful yet flexible. Yes, I can create sections for uploading files where only Exco members can view.
I've made Evonne the assistant site admin so that she can help us create content such as news updates on events like our AGM, SAJS Fun Fair, etc, as well as moderate comments and forum posts.
I'm going to get her to upload the AGM agenda in Word doc format, accessible to all, so that they may download it for reading beforehand. Of course, since only the Exco knows about this site's existence for now, this is merely an exercise for Evonne to get familiar with the site's capabilities :)

Ok now I get it-the preview button-why not put in "submit" which then goes to the save command-sorry I need guiding here ha ha ha.
Hi Andrew, good point, I can see how the word "Save" on the button can be a bit vague, when "Submit" or "Post" is usually used instead in other Forums.
Let me see how I can change the button label.
My first comment went missing. The navigation is basic which is good to avoid too many layers to complicate the site. The "add new comments" should be in box highlight and at the top.
